SEND local offer - SEN and Engagement Service Guide to Primary and Secondary Transfers

This guide explains the process for transfers for children with Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans, who will transfer from nursery to reception or from Year 6 to Year 7.

All school placements for children within these year groups are issued on 15 February on the Year of transfer. For example, if the child is in Year 7 in September 2023, their school placement will be issued on 15 February 2023.
