Advertising boards and shop displays
There is currently no license issued or fee for the placing of advertising boards or other displays on the adopted highway within Stockton-on-Tees.
Following a Council's Scrutiny process a set of guidance has been produced for the placing of these temporary items of furniture by businesses which will be self-regulatory, with there being enforcement intervention when businesses do not follow the information set out in the guidance.
