Drug, Alcohol and Substance Misuse Services

Drugs and alcohol can sometimes play a role in your life. You could be curious and experimenting, but the support is there if alcohol, drugs or both become a problem for you.   

There are services available to you and can be accessed by self-referral or a referral from any source. The services are there to help you with your individual needs and the needs of your family.  

Change Grow Live

In Stockton, Change Grow Live offers a range of services for you as a young person up to the age of 25.

Eating healthy and exercising regularly can help you to stay well and improve how you feel. 

Growing Well Growing Healthy  

The Growing Well Growing Healthy team can help support you with weight loss, healthy eating and becoming more active.  

Specialist Public Health Nurses and Lifestyle Coaches will give you information and activities to become healthier and more active while having fun.

Opening up about your mental health can be scary but there are many organisations available that can listen to your problems and help you to feel better. 

Kooth

Kooth is a free online mental health service for you. The platform offers counselling and emotional well-being support through mobile phones, tablets or desktop computers.  

Kooth is a safe and non-judgemental place for you to talk, connect and chat with experienced counsellors. You do not need to give any personal details to use this service.

On My Mind

On My Mind is a free digital tool that contains advice and resources to help you support your own mental health.  

The main goals are: 

  • to make sure no young person feels they have nowhere to turn when having problems with their mental health and wellbeing
  • to make mental health treatment and support transparent and easy to understand for young people
  • to promote choice and shared decision making by allowing young people voice's to be heard in their own treatment

CAMHs Crisis and Liasion

The Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHs) Crisis Team are there to respond to young people experiencing a mental health crisis. The service is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and is available to you up until your 18th birthday.
