0-19 Service

We provide a range of 0-19 health services within Stockton-on-Tees. <SEND>

Adoption Tees Valley

Adoption Tees Valley is a regional adoption agency covering the North East of England. We launched in May 2018 and replace the five local authority agencies of Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool, Redcar and Cleveland and Darlington. <SEND>

Autism Parents Together Tees Valley

Autism Parents Together Tees Valley is a charity that provides support to children and young people aged 0-18 years, either diagnosed with or undergoing assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder.<SEND>

CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services)

The Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is provided by Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV). The service works with children, young people, and their families up to the age of 18 years old who are experiencing mental health problems / complex emotional and behavioural difficulties, offering assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. <SEND>

The CEA (Cinema Exhibitors Association) Card is a national card scheme developed for UK cinemas by the UK Cinema Association (UKCA). <SEND>

Corner House Youth Project

Council for Disabled Children

The Council for Disabled Children (CDC) is the umbrella body for the disabled children's sector in England, with links to other UK nations. Daisy Chain

Disability Living Allowance

Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for children, may help with the extra costs of looking after a child who: is under 16 years old has difficulties walking or needs much more looking after than a child of the same age who doesn't have a disability. <SEND>

The work to protect children and young people from abuse and neglect is overseen by the Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSSCP).

Help outside of office hours - The Emergency Duty Service

The Emergency Duty Service is part of Social Care and provides an out-of-hours response to emergency situations involving child protection, childcare, mental health and other adult service matters. We provide a contact point for advice and, where necessary, immediate service to individuals and families who are experiencing crisis in their lives. We work closely with other emergency services including Health, Warden Call, Police, Women's Refuges and the Benefits Agency. <SEND>

I CAN - Invalid Children's Aid Nationwide

I CAN is a children's communication charity. They work to foster the development of speech, language and communication skills in all children with a special focus on those who find this hard: children with a communication disability. <SEND>

Independent Parental Special Education Advice (IPSEA)

IPSEA is a registered charity (number 327691) offering free, independent, legally based information, advice and support to help families get the right education for children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs and or disability. They cover the whole of England (the law is different in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). <SEND>

Sensory Processing Disorder Parent Support Group North East England

Does your child have meltdowns or fidget, lack concentration? Do they have feeding/sleep difficulties? Does your child dislike noises, touch, clothing or even school? Sensory processing difficulties (SPD) is not really recognised in the UK at this time although it is in America. It generally affects children/adults who have Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia etc. A lot of parents will know their child suffers from sensory issues but not relate it to SPD and even in some cases put it down to 'naughty behaviour'.

Special Needs Activities with Parents Support (SNAPS)

SNAPS provides all kinds of regular activities for children and young people with special needs. The age range supported is 0 to 25-years. <SEND>

Stockton-on-Tees Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service

SEND IASS offer impartial, confidential and free information, advice and support for parents and carers and children and young people around issues relating to (SEND).

Sunflower Sensory Service

The Sunflower Sensory Service is delivered by experienced members of the Paediatric Occupational Therapy team. They provide a series of three friendly and interactive workshops called Sunflower Parent Training. <SEND>

The Children's Hub - Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees

The Children's Hub is the first point of contact for anyone who has a concern about the welfare or safety of a child or young person or thinks they may need extra help and support. When we are contacted, we will listen to what they are being told and the different agencies might share information with each other to try and work out whether we can help. <SEND>
