Eligible children in the Stockton-on-Tees Borough can enjoy a range of free activities this Easter such as football, gymnastics, boxing, yoga, theatre workshops and even a cinema club!

The offer is available for eligible school age children from Reception to Year 11, who live in the Borough and are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals.

Running from Tuesday 2 April until Friday 12 April, each session will also include a free meal for all those children taking part.

This exciting offer is all thanks to the Holiday Are Fun (HAF) Programme, led by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council in partnership with Catalyst and the Department for Education.

Councillor Lisa Evans, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: "This is an amazing opportunity for young people to have some fun and socialise with others this Easter.

"There are such a wide range of activities on offer so there really is something for everyone to enjoy.

"We hope all the children who come along have a great time and enjoy their free, healthy meal too!

"Places are on offer on a first-come, first-served basis so please book in your child as soon as you can, if you're eligible."

Bookings for HAF go live today (Monday 4 March).
