A by-election will take place on Thursday, 19 September in Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Fairfield ward following the resignations of two councillors.

A notice of election for two vacancies has been published today, Wednesday, 14 August following the resignations of Susan Scott and Alex Griffiths.

The closing date for nominations is 4pm on Thursday, 22 August.

To have your say and vote in this election, you need to be registered to vote by midnight on Tuesday, 3 September.
