Description

The Tees Valley Lettings Partnership are seeking views on proposed changes to the Common Allocations Policy.

Due to the increased demand for social housing within the partnership areas and the financial pressures currently placed on Local Authorities, considerations include changes to the priority banding criteria, the disqualification period due to antisocial behaviour and local connections.

The law requires that when a Local Authority makes an alteration to their scheme for allocating social rented housing, which would result in a major change to their policy, members of the public were invited to make comments on the proposals.
