SEND Local Offer Annual Report 2023 to 2024

Between June and December 2024 each page of the updated Local Offer was reviewed in detail with professionals working in each key area. Processes were put in place to streamline the updates process and guidance for continuous review requirements were put in place.

Steps were also taken to build awareness with professionals by attending SENCO briefings and events. Steps were also made to raise awareness of the Local Offer within the SEND team to encourage involvement and build understanding of the potential opportunities and purpose the Local Offer can have.

This helped build the Professionals Area as a resource bank for documents and updates which now has over 125 users across Stockton-on-Tees.

The Local Offer has also been identified as a suitable location for the launch of a Parental Training platform in 2025.
