What are Supported Internships?
Supported Internships are a structured study programme based primarily with an employer. The main aim of a supported internship is a substantial work placement facilitated by the support of a job coach. It is a great opportunity to improve the life chances of young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) by supporting them into sustained, paid employment.
