Supported internships - everything you need to know

A transition-to-work education programme for young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). 

Students complete their internship in a real workplace with the support of a job coach and department mentor. Interns attend daily classroom sessions at Amazon Wynyard that focus on employability and independent living skills. 

What do I get out of programme? 

• marketable job skills 
• increased independence and confidence 
• individualised coaching and daily feedback 

Applicants should: 

• have a current EHCP 
• be 18 to 24 years old 
• have the desire and motivation to achieve paid employment
