Thornaby Town Deal

The Town Deal Board is working on the Town Investment Plan and has identified the four priorities for Thornaby:

• Tackle long term vacant properties in town centre to enable new development and change of use
• Support to enhance the delivery of skills training for Thornaby residents, linked to Stockton Riverside College's strategic aims and objectives
• New footpath and cycle infrastructure linking station, college, town centre and key residential areas and employment sites
• Addressing poor quality housing in North Thornaby

Work is now taking place to develop a masterplan to address these priorities.
