i-THRIVE is the NHS programme aimed at improving mental health services for children, young people and their families.

Mindful Me

Partnering with the NHS, BMBF have developed Mindful Me, a book specially curated for young people navigating life's complexities.

Exploring mental health and wellbeing is a brave step, and Mindful Me offers some useful tools and ideas to explore as you figure out what works best for you. It also has some helpful information at the back about i-THRIVE, the NHS programme aimed to help your mental health, and where to go if you need more support.

So whether you're new to mindfulness or expanding your self-care toolkit, Mindful Me is a space to experiment, reflect, and grow. And remember - the journey itself holds as much value as the destination.

Activity sheets

Mindful Me is a booklet packed with easy-to-digest activities and prompts to help support mindfulness. It's a perfect introduction for young people just dipping their toes into mindfulness or anyone keen to get better at self-care.

Mindful Me activity sheets are available to download and print at home including:

  • intro to gratitude journelling - write down and recognise the little things that make you happy
  • mindful colouring - relax and wind down with a colouring sheet
  • positive affirmations - note down positive thoughts about yourself and reframe negativity
  • random acts of kindness - think about ways to help others and spread positivity
