Candidates for the Tees Valley Combined Authority Mayoral Election announced

The election will take place on Thursday 6 May.

The candidates are:

• Ben HOUCHEN (The Conservative Party Candidate)
   
• Jessie Joe Asher JACOBS (Labour and Co-operative Party)

Residents who are not on the electoral register who wish to vote in this election must apply to register by Monday 19 April.

Those who are registered to vote and would like to vote by post or postal proxy must apply by 5pm on Tuesday 20 April.

Those who are registered to vote and would like to vote by proxy must apply by 5pm on Tuesday 27 April.

Registration is simple and only takes a few minutes to complete. You'll need to provide your date of birth and National Insurance number.
