You can register regardless of: 

• the amount of care you provide 
• the type of care you provide 
• your financial means  
• your own level of need for support 
• whether you live with the person you are looking after  

You can only register if the person you care for lives in Stockton-on-Tees. You do not have to live in the Borough.

If you tell us that you are providing care and support for someone, we can: 

• help you find information, advice and services to support you in your caring role 
• learn more about the needs of our local caring community to shape how we support carers in the future
