A range of free activities are being delivered for hundreds of eligible children across the Borough this half-term.

There are lots of sessions taking place, including football, trampolining and arts and crafts.

Each activity also comes with a free, nutritious meal.

The scheme is being delivered for children aged five to 16 who live in areas across the Borough where the number of children on free school meals is highest.

It's all thanks to Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Public Health funding, with support from Catalyst.

Councillor Jim Beall, the Council's Cabinet Member for Health, Leisure and Culture, said: "We know that school holidays can be a difficult time for families who are struggling financially and that's why we've stepped in to provide the activities, which will make a huge difference to children's half-terms.

"We've got 500 children attending the sessions held across the Borough and they'll be keeping healthy and active, as well as most importantly having a great time!

"With the range of activities being delivered, there's something for all the children taking part to enjoy."
