A number of other areas in the region - where case rates are higher - have been identified by the Government as either areas of "concern" or "enhanced support".

"It's the risk to elderly and vulnerable people that's the main worry," said Councillor Bob Cook, Leader of the Council and Chair of the Borough's Local Outbreak Engagement Group (LOEG).

"COVID-19 has not gone away. We're still seeing new cases every day and our numbers have been increasing. We don't want to see the virus spreading to people whose lives are most likely to be put at risk if they get it.

Meanwhile, parents, carers and businesses can find a host of helpful information on the Council's website.

You can keep up with all Coronavirus (COVID-19) related developments in the Borough via the Council's webpage Stockton Borough Council.
