Make your mark on SIRF's 30th birthday community carnival
Organisers of SIRF 17 are calling for people across Stockton-on-Tees to help create the 30th birthday edition of the Community Carnival t-shirt.

Director of Culture, Events and Leisure at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, Reuben Kench, said: "SIRF is celebrating a very special birthday this year and we want as many people as possible to be part of it.
"SIRF's Community Carnival is the Tees Valley's largest community celebration and there are so many ways to join in ranging from costume making, to dancing, playing a musical instrument or singing. Helping to design the t-shirt is yet another way to get involved so we are encouraging everyone to download a template and send us their design."
The deadline for people to submit their ideas is Wednesday 7 June.
The 30 short-listed drawings will then be worked into a final t-shirt design by North East Illustrator, Daniel Weatheritt.

SIRF 17 will take place from Thursday 3 August until Sunday 6 August.
