We have 2 designated neighbourhood planning areas in the Borough.

Neighbourhood planning documents allow communities to play a strong role in shaping the areas in which they live and work.

Wynyard neighbourhood area

Wynyard Residents Association are taking part in the development of a neighbourhood plan for the Wynyard neighbourhood planning area (PDF) [526KB] in partnership with Grindon Parish Council.

Egglescliffe and Eaglescliffe Parish Council are developing neighbourhood planning documents for the Eaglescliffe and Egglescliffe neighbourhood area (PDF) [2MB] .
