Don't miss your chance to enter Stockton Duathlon

There's just over a week left to enter Stockton Duathlon Festival.

Hundreds of participants are signed up and ready for action at this year's run-cycle-run event - and there's still time to enter before entries close on Sunday, 7 April.

Now in its seventh year, the Duathlon is set to be as popular as ever with three race distances to choose from to suit people of all ages, experience and ability:

• Go-Tri distance - 2k run, 10k cycle, 1k run 
• Sprint distance - 5k run, 20k cycle, 2.5k run 
• Standard distance - 10k run, 40k cycle, 5k run 

All races take place on fully closed roads that are flat, fast and spectator friendly.

Cash prizes are on offer for first (£500), second (£300) and third (£200) places in the Standard distance event for both males and females, plus there will be medals and goodie bags for all participants.

This year's Duathlon takes place on Sunday 14 April and will also act as a qualifier for the World Duathlon Championships (Standard and Sprint race).

The Duathlon is hosted by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council in partnership with TriHard and is supported by British Triathlon.
