The events have been organised as part of National Carers' Week (Monday 10- Sunday 16 June) which shines a light on the challenges carers face and recognises the contribution they make.

Councillor Ann McCoy, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care, said: "Carers play a vital role in supporting loved ones, friends and others in our communities and it's really important they feel supported too. With our partner organisations we'll be holding a range of events which celebrate the excellent work carers do and offer opportunities for them to access a variety of advice and information."
