Santa on Wheels
Santa on Wheels returns to Stockton-on-Tees for 2024!
Over four evenings from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 December 2024, Santa will be back touring the streets of Stockton-on-Tees on his magical open top bus to bring some Christmas cheer to you!
Santa will be on a strict schedule so he won't be able to stop to say hello but he will be waving and spreading festive joy from aboard his special bus.
You can find Santa's routes for each of the four evenings below and you can view Santa's location on our Santa tracker which you can view each night just before Santa sets off, by clicking the link on the below pages. The routes are slightly different this year due to roadworks so be sure to take a look to see where he will be passing through.

Santa on Wheels - all you need to know
What is Santa on Wheels?
Santa on Wheels will see Santa tour the streets of the Borough on an open top bus over four evenings from Thursday 12 December to Sunday 15 December 2024.
Will Santa on Wheels be coming down my street?
Santa will be getting round as many streets as possible over the four evenings. Unfortunately, Santa's bus can't visit every street as he's a busy man at this time of year, plus his bus won't fit down some streets. The routes of his tour, including approximate timings, can be found on the links above. We also have a Santa tracker which means you'll be able to view where Santa is in real time. This will be available to view each night on the above pages.
If there are any last minute changes due to traffic issues, or if the bus is running very late, we will provide updates on our Facebook page.
What time will the bus get to my location?
Routes and approximate timings are available via the links above. The arrival times are estimates but we will keep you informed if Santa is seriously delayed due to any traffic or weather. We also have a Santa tracker which means you'll be able to view where Santa is in real time. This will be available to view each night on the above pages.
If my street isn't included on the map, why?
There are a number of roads that Santa's bus just won't fit down. Also, some streets and roads which are lined with trees may not be accessible due to overhanging branches.
Am I allowed to travel to make sure I see the Santa bus?
Santa is travelling across the whole of the Borough so it will be coming to an area close to where you live, hopefully you don't have to travel too far to see Santa.
Will the Santa bus stop and will I be able to meet Santa?
Unfortunately, Santa won't have time to stop his bus as he has many streets to visit. After listening to your feedback from last year, Santa will try to pass more slowly through streets in residential areas but may not be able to slow down on main roads for safety reasons.
